Your selected recepient will receive an email from us with a coupon code, along with your message notifying them of the gift. Discounts and promo codes do not apply to the purchase of the gift certificate, but the recipient can take advantage of any sale running when they use the gift certificate. Plus, the certificate can be used towards shipping costs as well so there are no hidden costs associated with using the gift card. If the only item in your order is a gift certificate, since they are electronically generated, you will not be charged shipping.
